Nude leotards, pink tights, bright lights, tutus too tight.
Stage make-up, clean and sleek pulled back hair.
Quick changes backstage, not caring who is there.
Sore feet from pretty satin pink pointe shoes.
But the pain and ugly costumes are all worth it.
To see boys joke around in class while learning dances.
The jokes that are made and will last till the end of the year.
Getting to leave school early and going uptown for lunch before tech rehearsals.
All the fun that is had in dressing rooms.
Such as one of the boys hiding in your dressing room under your slip for a costume.
The feeling of knowing that your friends are there.
Be it in the audience or joking with you backstage on on stage.
Being able to zone off in classes on friday cause your way to tired to pay attention.
Because all of your teachers know you stayed out way to late cause you had no choice.
Your opening night show was last night.
Cast parties friday night eating a unreasonable amount of greasy pizza.
The last show on Saturday nights filled with seniors tears.
Because this is their last ballet at NWSA.
That is why I love the ballet , all of the pain, tears, and stress. All of the laughter filled classes of learning choreograph. And even all of the ugly costumes.
But what I love the most about them is that all my friends family and teachers can see how much I have improved at what I love to do. . .

I should probably start packing for my trip to Tennessee with my dad. I dont know what I want to pack though. I know what I have to pack and stuff so I think that I will just put all of my summer clothes in a suit case. Then I think that I will pack all of my bathroom stuff in one of the suit cases that my mum and I use as carry ons. Then I have to pack everything for my laptop too.

FOR ALL OF THOSE WHO KNOW ME REALLY WELL. . . . . . . . . . . I CLEANED MY ROOM!!! XD
